Harbor and CoVet Announce Strategic Partnership to Integrate AI Tools into Veterinary Education and Practice

Collaboration aims to bridge the gap between veterinary education and clinical practice through the use of AI-driven communication and decision-support tools.

SAN FRANCISCO – June 12, 2025 - With the intention to transform how early-career veterinarians learn and practice, Harbor and CoVet have announced a strategic partnership to integrate AI-powered scribing, communication, and support tools into Harbor’s nationally recognized veterinary curriculum and Suveto’s growing network of veterinary hospitals. The initiative will launch in select Harbor communities beginning in 2025, with pilot implementations already in motion through the 2024 Harbor GO program.

The collaboration introduces CoVet’s advanced AI technology across Harbor’s ecosystem, beginning with an 8-week module for new grads that teaches how to use AI in clinical workflows. CoVet will also play a central role in the Harbor Summer ExternSHIP, supporting veterinary students in documenting and synthesizing key learnings from weekly practice leader meetings. The integration deepens in the fall with the Harbor Business Experience (HBE), where CoVet will empower student-led meetups and Hackathon teams to communicate, collaborate, and innovate more effectively.

By seamlessly integrating CoVet’s platform into educational touchpoints and hospital workflows, this initiative will enable Suveto’s network of Practice Leaders, Associate Veterinarians, and Technicians to organically engage with the technology. This exposure is expected to drive measurable platform adoption, stimulate practice-level innovation, and inform next-gen talent development strategies across the Suveto ecosystem.
