Copying lab results from email into your records, logging in and out of accounts on a shared computer, and searching for the right handout to send home may seem like small inconveniences. But they add up by the end of the day.
That’s why we’re sharing new features and improvements to remove these hurdles from your day.
In This Release:
Email Assistant: Update records or create new ones directly from your inbox.
Shared Workstations: Switch team accounts quickly with a 4-digit PIN.
Helpful Client Handouts: Access Vetlexicon resources from any Case Page.
Multi-Patient Discharge: Generate clear summaries for multiple pets at once.

Your New Email Assistant
Your inbox is full of important information. Lab results and referral letters pile up all day long. Copying, pasting, downloading, saving, and re-uploading those key details takes time and attention away from the people and pets who really need it.
Our new Email Assistant removes those middle steps. You can now update your notes without switching between tabs or windows.

How it works: Simply forward your emails or images to email@co.vet with a note like, "Add this to Fluffy’s case from February 10th." CoVet will update the file or create a new one for you, based on your instructions.
If CoVet needs to clarify which appointment or template to use, it will simply send you a quick follow-up email.
Faster Transitions on Shared Workstations
If your team shares a computer, you can now switch accounts quickly with a 4-digit PIN. This keeps you moving between appointments without the friction of a full logout.

Setup: Set your PIN in Profile Settings and you are ready to record in seconds.
Helpful Client Handouts
Even the best appointment can feel like a blur to a worried client. They may leave the clinic with only part of what you explained, plus a lot of stress. You want to send them home with reliable, professional information, but searching external databases for the right PDF takes time you do not have.
That’s why we partnered with Vetlexicon for Client Handouts.
CoVet now suggests relevant handouts based on what you have documented throughout the appointment. You can preview and email these materials right from the Case Page.
You can reinforce your recommendations without hunting for the right resource, with CoVet sharing resources like:
Attach Photos and PDFs to Any Case Document
A medical record is rarely just text. It includes the photos and lab reports that tell the full story. You can now bundle photos and PDFs directly into any document you create with CoVet.
Select exactly which files to include.
Bundle them automatically when sending or downloading.
Send one organized email with every attachment included.
Easier Discharge for Every Patient
We have updated Discharge Summaries to give you more control.
You can now generate one summary for several pets at once, preview the full PDF before you hit send, and set default templates to make your afternoon go faster.
