CoVet Secures Growth Funding with Off Leash Capital to Build the Future of Veterinary AI

San Francisco, CA – September 2, 2025 – CoVet, the AI copilot for veterinary professionals, today announced it has closed a growth funding round with industry-specific investor Off Leash Capital (Chicago Pacific Founders Pet Fund). The investment will accelerate CoVet’s global expansion and product development, deepening its mission to give time back to veterinarians and their teams.

Over the last 18 months, CoVet has grown rapidly, supporting thousands of clinics and tens of thousands of veterinary professionals across the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and beyond. This growth is rooted in a deep understanding of the challenges facing the industry.

Built By Vets, For the Whole Team

The challenges of administrative work are at the heart of our founding story. Co-founder Mike Parent grew up watching his veterinarian mother carry stacks of paper records home in a bag each night. That first-hand understanding of the daily grind is our company’s DNA.

It’s why we are committed to embedding veterinary professionals into everything we do. Our team of over 60 staff, more than 80% of whom have direct clinical experience, is a testament to this. It has allowed us to build the only solution engineered for every veterinarian, whether they’re in general practice, large farm animal medicine, specialty care, or working as a locum.
